NextGen Business Lab is a six-month youth entrepreneurship incubator created by Lustre by Melle to equip young people ages 13–19 with the knowledge, mentorship, resources, and real-world experiences needed to turn ideas into viable opportunities.
Through business education, hands-on learning, mentorship, community engagement, and exposure to experienced entrepreneurs and industry professionals, NextGen helps young people build more than businesses. We help them build confidence, leadership skills, professional networks, and a greater sense of what is possible for their futures.
FROM ENTREPRENEURSHIP TO IMPACT
Lustre by Melle was built on the belief that entrepreneurship can create opportunity, independence, confidence, and generational impact.
NextGen Business Lab extends that belief to the next generation.
The program gives youth an opportunity to learn how businesses are built while developing the practical and personal skills needed to navigate the world as emerging entrepreneurs and leaders.
Participants move through a six-month experience centered around six pillars:

Business Education
Participants learn foundational concepts including branding, marketing, financial literacy, customer experience, business planning, communication, and entrepreneurship.
Mentorship & Industry Exposure
Young entrepreneurs connect with business owners, professionals, mentors, and industry coaches who provide insight, guidance, and real-world perspective.
Hands-On Development
Participants move beyond theory by developing their own ideas, strengthening existing businesses, completing projects, and preparing to present what they have built.
Leadership & Community Impact
Entrepreneurship is positioned not simply as a way to generate income, but as a tool for leadership, problem-solving, service, and positive community impact.
WHO WE SERVE
NextGen Business Lab serves young people ages 13–19 who are curious about entrepreneurship, interested in business, already operating a small venture, or simply ready to explore what they are capable of creating.
Participants do not need to enter the program with a fully developed business.
They need curiosity, commitment, and a willingness to learn.

NextGen Business Lab was founded as a community-impact initiative of Lustre by Melle, connecting the company’s entrepreneurial journey with a larger commitment to opportunity and economic empowerment.
What began as one founder building a business has grown into a platform for helping young people imagine and build businesses of their own.
